It's been 10 days since my last post. I know I have said to keep up with it every single day or so but lately I have been feeeling kind of worn out.I could fall asleep anywhere and I mean literally "anywhere" ...
Im still doing my photo-a-day ! yay! I am meaning to get Two Sisters templates and then will just post the pics in the calendar form
I have seen on Emily Merritt's blog! It looks so cool!!!!!
I will probably do it tomorrow as it's quite late now and my hubby is doing a night shift so it
means me getting up to Little One if he cries ....unless I move him to bed with me ;)

I have had a quite a good day today with my little tot.We laughed, played, chased
each other around the couch and danced..yeah he's dancing - or more like standing
and bouncing his bum to the music:) Such an adorable and funny view. We taped him
dancing last night as well.
He's getting really smart - he knows what sounds car,bird, dog make...He likes to
talk on the phone - he'll take the receiver ,put to his ear and walk around house
making noises as if he was having a converstion ;)
Now he's really into playing with little cars - pushing them with one finger and then
going after them.
As for walking - I mean he's literally running now- so fast! He can balance himself
very well...he can squat to pick something without any wobbling, sticking his bum out!!!!
In short words - great day spent with my cute son :)

I have spent like a gazillion minutes today on the web
browsing through some galleries and searching for new
inspirations...It's so addictive....
I have taken a photo for today but haven't got round to
resizing and stuff so will post it tomoorow.
For today I have two new layouts from yesterday and today :)

{hybrid scrapbooking}

I think Im starting to fall in love with Hybrid Scrapbooking- or at least with the layouts done with the hybrid products ...well not all of them but with the ones that
look kind of vintage'y, eclectic ....I was just browsing on the internet and on Two
Peas In a Bucket I have found some great stuff by Rhonna Farrer I would love to
have a go with .... The LOs done with some of her kits are just EYE-POPPING!
The products are a bit too dear ...but hey, maybe one a week woudn't be that bad hihi

My photo for today is bowl of spinach - which we love eating with different kind
of dressings- even our little one has tried it today and wanted more - well to be honest
he wants everything that we have , no exception and I mean it!!!!He is like a little
dustbin, never full...ehhhhhhhhhhhhh

{macro lover}

I have always loved looking at macro photos and wanted to be
able to take one myself..This morning I was playing with some
settings on my DSRL camera and with Shutter Mode on I managed
to take few pics of those tiny flowers in a pot on my kitchen
table... then some zooming in and I got myself a macro shot
without having to use a macro lens(which BTW I'd love to buy in
the nearest future )....
So this will be my photo for today ;o)

{beezy beezy bee}

After a beezy day it's time to unwind with a good cup of coffee(my third today ;),
spoon filled with peanut butter, soul music on and just the company of the
computer ;) Little one is finally asleep and hubby still at work - so have the
evening just for myself....
Throughout the day I have managed to resize my photos of the day so I
can upload them and keep up with the whole project 365 :) It was actually
very time consuming to do them all at once so from now on I will try to be
up to date by uploading them each day ... hope I can keep that resolution;)
Yeah...as for the resolutions I have been sort of bad ... I have decided to
lose some weight for the summer (like we all do) but instead I have managed
to put on weight ...grrrrrrrrr.....Im so angry at myself ! It has to do with all
the sitting in front of the computer with my lazy butt! I am surprised I have
not got any blisters yet hihihihihi .
Lately it's been very rainy and cold here and I just didn't feel energized to
do anything exercise-wise but I do promise to myself
that Im gonna change it starting this very minute - no more biscuits, white bread,
nibblings between the meals and moving more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My little one was practising going down the stairs today :) He's so fast going up
that it's so hard to catch up with him and he's only 13 months!
So today he has decided to climb three- four steps (with our supervision of
course) and then sort of 'slide' himself down ..he was so accurate and
cautious, doing it very slowly. Im so proud of all his little achivements
each day. For a premie (he was one month premature) he's verrrrrrry
strong -he can pull himself up by his hands holding on to something, lifting the
legs of the floor (!!!),he's already walking, understanding a lot of things we ask
him to do and doing them, really making progress on the speech .... I mean
I can only be happy he's healthy and doing so well :)

Every day I see new changes in my little HoneyBee :) Since he started walking
he became this independent young boy. He is more aware of his actions ,
especially those he shouldn't do, thus he does them ;) Lately he's been into
copying us - when I talk on the phone he put his hand to his ear and pretend
he's talking too, making those cute sounds :) He also learned to point his finger
at things and shaking his head for no,or nodding for yes. Most of the time the
finger is pointed at our cupboard in the kitchen where we keep Pringles saying
give give give (polish Da da da) huh...My husband gave it to try to him one
day and since then he's drooling even if we only mention the name. Nothing
excites him more than a Pringle in his little hand :o)

{project 365 anyone?}

Seems like everybody around is doing it! Me too :) I found out about
it two days into the new year but lucky me I always carry my Oly
(Olympus E510) with me so I have every day of 2008 covered
so far:) Im gonna post my pics on Photoblog and update it once
a week - can't do every day - my little one keeps me very busy,
what can I do :)
Yesterday we had him baptised. He was exactly 13 months - our
favourite number(I met my husband on friday 13th :))) I know we
waited long to have him baptised but we are not really religous
ourselves , though we were both brought up Catholics...Anyways
we did it for him - whatever he decides then religion-wise when he
is old enough will be totally up to him.
He and two other kids were baptised by Fr Sean who came especially
to Tuam for our little one. Fr Sean knows my husband from work -
he's a chapalain at the hospital where my hubby works and since the
birth of our son the two have been talking about it and once we had
the date picked he'd said he'd come to do it and he did ;o)
The whole ceremony was ok. Slawcio was fine as well - only started
wriggling a bit by the end of it.
Our friends were the godparents to our boy and I was a godmother to
their DD - she was born the same year as Slawcio but in January that
makes her nearly year older. Anways there was this funny moment
before it all started when she came up to him and gave him few kisses -
his first girl-boy kisses. It was so cute :) Of course I took a photo of it and this one
will be the one for the Jan 6th :)

{new beginnings}

As a new year resolution I have decided to start blogging :)
In the last year I came across so many wonderful blogs that
I enjoyed reading and I have finally managed to get round to it!
Im thrilled and excited about this new adventure! This will be
my place for capturing everything that happens in my life and
around it! My chat with life :)

Last year I got into digital scrapbooking! I love it! I can say that
Im addictited to it! And good cup of coffee of course :) I started
2008 by joining Emiliy Merritt's Creative Team and Im so
thankful to her for giving me that
opportunity.
I really love her style and Im so happy I get to create with
her fabulous products !
